Help with school uniform, clothing and footwear
Citizens Advice North Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire Council can provide up to £50 per child towards clothing and footwear they need for school.
Families can apply for other clothing and footwear their child needs for school, including winter coats.
Support can include:
- branded school uniform from Shah’s;
- an ASDA voucher for non-branded school uniform or clothing; and/or
- a Clarks voucher for school shoes.
Applicants must live in North Lincolnshire and not currently have savings or access to funds that could reasonably be used to meet the cost themselves.
Families can apply directly using the School Uniform Support Application Form.
Before an application can be approved, applicants will be asked to provide:
- a recent full bank statement to help confirm their North Lincolnshire address and financial circumstances; and
- evidence for each child included in the application, such as a birth certificate, passport, Child Benefit letter or other suitable evidence.
