Emma Ricketts

Vice Principal – Deep Support, SENCO, Designated Safeguarding Lead

Having studied Biology at Salford University I completed the Graduate Teacher Programme. I started teaching Science at Foxhills (now Outwood Academy Foxhills) in 2004. I held roles as 2nd in Science, Head of Science, Lead Teacher of Learning and Assistant Principal whilst at Foxhills. I developed a passion for all aspects of Inclusion and trained to become the DSL and SENCO. I moved to Outwood Academy Brumby as Vice Principal – Deep Support for a year. I am pleased to return to Foxhills as Vice Principal in order to support students and staff in promoting positive behaviours and outstanding attitudes for learning whilst diminishing the differences between all students. I am currently completing my NPQH in order to develop my leadership further towards Headship.
