Associate Assistant Principal - Deep Learning
I started my journey into the teaching profession back in 2011, where I began my four-year Undergraduate Masters in Chemistry (MChem Chemistry) degree at The University of Hull. After completion in 2015, I commenced my PGDE at The University of Sheffield, where I qualified the following Summer. My first official teaching post as a Science teacher was at Queen Elizabeth’s High School in Gainsborough, where I taught for 3 years. During this time, I successfully completed my MA APSE (Masters in Applied professional Studies in Education) alongside my teaching position. My journey in education has led me to begin a new teaching adventure and as of September 2019, at Outwood Academy Foxhills, I am currently holding the position of acting Second in Science as well as Associate Assistant Principal. I intend to complete my NPQML throughout this time. My main focus in the AAP role is in Deep Learning where I am incredibly excited to help build on the successes of the 2019 Summer by helping to provide an enriching and exciting learning experience for all. Working at Outwood Academy Foxhills is such a fantastic opportunity and I am really looking forward to working with such a brilliant team and the amazing pupils at the school.
